The main reason is because people aren't afraid to tell others that they've lost money over the years, but it doesn't have to be like that anymore.

If your website is geared towards helping others in the beginning, then the chances of your business being a long-term success are greatly increased. While we can't stress this point enough, it's important to gear your information in a way that lets prospects make the decisions on their own. Let them say to themselves, "Okay, I can do this and become successful." Doing so will allow them to trust themselves as opposed to worrying about trusting you.

Properly Utilizing One on One Time

99% of all networking companies will tell you that one on one time with prospects is key to getting people in your downline. The truth is, though, that's only partially true. Yes, it's important, but what's more important is having one-on-one time with the right people. Our advice about network marketing this way is that you need to put your time in the right places. If you don't, it will take a lot longer to become successful because of some who are just wasting your time.

Listen, we aren't trying to offend anyone, but there are people out there who will take advantage of one on one time and simply do nothing. They ask a million questions, but really have no intention to do anything with your opportunity. Then there are those who are asking questions and needing help because they are taking this seriously and realize it's not some get rich quick scheme and they're going to have to work. Those are the kinds of people you want to spend your time with and why it's crucial to make sure you do.

Building that Relationship

When it comes down to advice about network marketing everyone should know by now the importance of building a relationship with your prospects.

Sure, you want them to make their own decisions about your business, but in the meantime, you can be keeping in contact with them without hounding them all the time.

The way you do this is by getting them on your subscription list and getting their contact information. This way you won't have to spend hours talking on the phone, connecting on the web cams, or meeting face-to-face to those who live close. Instead, you can direct most of your efforts to the email marketing aspect of using autoresponders.

Just be sure to tell everyone your plan before you do it. If you want to help them through informative emails then tell them you'll be sending out 2 or 3 a week. Letting them know what's going to happen will allow them to be more receptive. Plus, you'll begin to gain their trust and respect as time goes on.
